September 2016

Oktoberfest at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm

Date :: September 9 & 10, 2016

Cost :: FREE 

Head to the Village Green at Watters Creek on Friday and Saturday, September 9 & 10 for the inaugural Craft Beer Festival presented by The Lion & Crown Pub. Enjoy 20+ Oktoberfest beers from area craft breweries along with live music, DJ, vendors, and festive activities! Representatives from Local Breweries Sam Adams, Deep Ellum, Lakewood, Franconia, Tupps, and Community will be featured on Village Green Drive.*Must be 21+ years old to consume alcohol. 

30th Annual GrapeFest

Location :: Downtown Grapevine

Date :: September 15-18, 2016 (10am-10:30pm)

Cost :: $8 for adults, $5 for children, 5 & under are free

There’s four full days of family-friendly festival fun for everyone at the 30th Annual GrapeFest! Kids of all ages will love the games and rides along the Carnival and Midway. Spend some time with the interactive fun at KidsWorld. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center’s Fun Builds, SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium and much more.

Addison Oktoberfest

Location :: Addison Circle Park

Date :: September 15-18, 2016

Cost :: $10 adults, $5 children, ages 3 & under are free

Named one of the country’s most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations by Forbes and USA Today, Addison Oktoberfest features four days of traditional Bavarian music, folk dancing, sing-alongs, children’s entertainment and of course, genuine German food!

All Saints Fall Fest

Location :: Grapevine, Texas

Date :: September 17-18, 2016

Cost :: FREE to attend, tickets for rides& games = $1

The Fall Festival offers fun for the entire family – fun games and activities, a huge silent auction with great values, outstanding food and fantastic live music and entertainment. There will be plenty of delicious food and beverages, including BBQ, hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, bratwursts, pizza, chili, and a beer and wine garden.

Greek Food Festival of Dallas

Location :: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, TX 75240

Date :: September 23-25, 2016

Cost :: $6 for adults, Kids 12 & under are free (Food Coupons are needed)

Celebrating 60 years, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is hosting their annual Greek Food Festival. 3 Days of Greek food, music, dancing, and fun!

McKinney Oktoberfest

Location: Historic Downtown McKinney

Date: September 23-24, 2016

Cost: $20 Food, Beverage & Ride Coupons (pricing varies)

Dust off your lederhosen and tune up your yodel for this year’s Oktoberfest. McKinney Oktoberfest is a family favorite, offering authentic German music, food and drink, traditional costumes, dancing, children’s activities and much more.

Fall Festival 

Location :: Carrollton Public Library at Josey Ranch Lake, 1700 Keller Springs Rd., Carrollton, TX 75006

Date :: October 27, 2016 (6-8pm)

Cost :: FREE

Drop in for some free, family-friendly fall fun! Enjoy games, art activities, stories, prizes, face painting, and fear factor games and more!!! Costumes encouraged.

Trick or Treat at the Farm

Location :: Heritage Farmstead Museum, 1900 W. 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075

Date :: October 28, 2016

Cost :: $7 for children 1+, $3 for adults

Put on your favorite costume and come Trick or Treat at the Farmstead.  Activities include trick or treating, chicken feeding, tractor rides, a craft, and so much more!  Open to ages 1-9.
