A pregnant lady and two of her girlfriends throw confetti and hold balloons at a baby shower with text "10 Places to Host a Baby Shower in Dallas"

First of all: How nice you are for offering to host a baby shower! While it’s wonderful to open your home to guests, we know that isn’t always a feasible option (and certainly not a stress-free one). For anyone in need of a baby shower venue in Dallas, consider one of these lovely locations.

Note: Spots on this list were chosen because they have private event options, but depending on your party size, you can often get away with a regular reservation.

1. Chelsea Corner

Chelsea Corner is a restored historic corner on McKinney Avenue that has a spacious backyard patio and three indoor private event areas, each with their own mood. The Garden Room is light and bright, and our recommendation for the perfect place to celebrate mama and baby. Note: We put this spot on our Mother’s Day brunch round-up, too. In fact, most of the places on that list would be a great venue for a baby shower. Take a look!

2. Chocolate Angel

Chocolate Angel in Richardson is shabby chic to the max, and offers a delightful afternoon tea with assorted sandwiches (anyone craving pimento cheese?), quiche of the day, and sweet and savory pastries for a respectable $22 per person. The private room gets snapped up quickly, but you can choose to do your shower in the main dining area, of course. FYI, there’s a second location in Plano tucked inside High Street Antique Mall.

3. Eataly

Eataly inside NorthPark is a shop and eatery that contains three restaurants, each with private dining options. Terra, on the third floor, has a botanical, open-air feel that would be delightful for an intimate lunch party. Find out more on its private dining page.

4. Elm & Good

Located in The Pittman Hotel in Deep Ellum, Elm & Good serves upscale American in a sophisticated environment. It has two private dining rooms, each with an adjacent outdoor terrace, that can accommodate groups of 15 – 30 (or you can rent the entire space for a larger event).

5. Flea Style

You’ve got options at Flea Style, a Frisco event space! Book a gathering in the vintage gallery room decorated with an eclectic art wall and peacock chairs, or plan the perfect tea party with a southern twist. You can even create your own menu that truly celebrates the mama-to-be. See the link for different package details, photos, the party brochure, and FAQs on events.

6. Hudson House

Hudson House’s Pineapple Room in Lakewood is where France meets Texas — classy and friendly. While the mom of honor might forego the raw bar of oysters and sushi (leaving more for her guests!), she’ll love a serving of chicken parm, popcorn chicken, or the chocolate silk pie. Book parties of 12. Note: The Las Colinas location has private dining as well.

7. George Coffee + Provisions

This Coppell farmhouse gives major Joanna Gaines vibes. George Coffee + Provisions’ menu includes fancy coffees, wines, bites, and boards. Reserve the Carriage House with access to the garden and biergarten tables, or the Library for a smaller, casual gathering. See the link for rental details. Closed Sundays.

8. Rise No.1

Rise No. 1 on Lovers Lane specializes in soufflé — the masterpiece of French cuisine. The restaurant serves all sorts of savory and sweet versions of the fluffy stuff, including one called Marshmallow Soup which is, if you ask me, merveilleux. Host your rendezvous in the birch tree dining forest, or reserve the private outdoor patio. Remember to ask about the gender reveal soufflés, too.

9. The Henry

The Henry is a modern restaurant in Downtown Dallas with a great upstairs patio and bar for private dining. Its modern vibe on art deco definitely gives “Gatsby,” perfect for a 20s- or dress up-themed shower. The menu features new American cuisine with nods to international destinations. Did someone say fondue? See the group dining brochure here.

10. Whistle Britches

If it’s fried chicken she wants, fried chicken she gets at Whistle Britches in Far North Dallas. Its three locations in Dallas, Plano, and Southlake are all excellent for celebrating a special occasion, inside or out, by day or by candlelight at night. On the website you’ll find a private party inquiry form (complete with photos), which is recommended for groups of eight or more.

Bonus: Peerspace

  1. Bake and Play Cafe has a room that seats 40 and is used for any type of party. If your planning a shower we can do your sweet treats and love to do “reveal” cupcakes too. Bring the little ones to run and play in the playroom, while mommies enjoy champagne cocktails and scrumptious baked goodies. 214-824-2253/Lakewood

    • Hi Rasheda, We don’t host baby showers personally. You’ll need to contact the specific business you’re looking to reserve.

  2. Hey Krystal, Thank you for this list of baby shower locations 🙂 Tillman’s however is closing, or has already closed so you may want to update the site. This was one of our favorite restaurants in Bishop Arts so stinks to see it go. There is another new venue in Bishop Arts however that you could add to your site. I can’t think of the name off the top of my head.
