Don’t Just Remove Lice, Prevent Them with Fairy Tales + Giveaway

Fairy Tales Hair Care is launching their latest line of lice preventative hair care at local Targets and CVS’s, and has partnered with Dallas Moms Blog to bring you this information plus a great giveaway! If your child is around other children…ever…make sure you enter!

Lice.

Does just the word send chills down your spin?

Each year, there are an estimated 12-15 million cases of head lice reported; regardless of social status or personal hygiene. Your children are more at risk than adults to spread lice because it’s at younger ages there’s more head-to-head contact.

Think about it. . . do your children share baseball helmets with the rest of the team? Does your child like to hug their friends? Do they like to play dress up or pretend and share hats, tiaras, or bows?

Chances are they’re being exposed to lice, and once you’ve discovered these nasty little nits in your child’s hair, they can be extremely difficult to remove. All it takes is just 1 to remain on the scalp, and your child can be completely reinfected again within 30 days.

Fairy Tales Hair Care

  1. I have used Fairy Tail hair products when my daughter got lice. Their metal comb works great. That was the only thing that helped to get rid of the lice.

  2. When my daughter got lice last year in kindergarten it was an awful experience. We caught it really early on (I check her hair twice a week anyways since she started school). Her hair was long… The nurses at the school recommended fairy tails and also informed us they’ve adopted a no lice policy (meaning, you can send kids to school if they have nits, but not active lice).

We were in for a long battle. It required a ton of combing(which she hated) I ended up cutting her hair to make combing easier… She was quite sad. Eventually, the kids stopped passing it around.

  3. I would LOVE this for Cassie with her long-ish hair! We haven’t yet been infected, (KNOCK ON WOOD), so I would love preventative measures! Thanks for sharing about this product!

  4. I think the embarrassment was the worst. Little ones were upset that they would get teased. I thought I could prevent it, but I don’t think anyone can. It is just something that happens and you just have to move on. I remember buying sprays for the furniture and washing all the bedding, pillows, coats, hats. There was just too much to wash in one day and I found it easier to got the laundromat and get it all done in one afternoon.
