We’ve rounded up some of the most eggciting hunts in metroplex to provide your family endless Easter fun.  From electric eggtravaganzas and Easter runs to special bunny appearances and traditional egg hunts, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for among these selections.    

Best of all, we’ve created a user-friendly list with some of the best hippity hoppity activities around.  You’ll find them organized by DATE, and then by CITY so you can easily leave a jelly bean trail to the event nearest your rabbit hole.

Easter Events By Date

March 24-April 15: Photos with the Easter Bunny in Bunnyville at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano (Grand Court). 

The Easter Bunny eggcitedly awaits visitors in Bunnyville, a charming, three-dimensional Bunny town featuring the Hoppin’ Fresh Bakery, 24 Carrot Bank, Hare Salon, Easter Egg School of Design and Bed & Basket.  Each building has interactive touch points such as a school bell that kids can ring to let the Easter Bunny know they have arrived.  The last stop in Bunnyville is a professional photo with the Easter Bunny in front of his Bunny House.  Details here

March 25-April 15: Hoppin Saturdays at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano.  

To add to the excitement of Bunnyville, The Shops at Willow Bend will host a special event on Saturdays from March 25 – April 15 and Friday, April 14, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Kids of all ages can hippity hop to Bunnyville to enjoy a basket full of Easter-themed activities including face painting, balloon creations, spring crafts and more.  Details here

March 31: Mom & Dad Museum After Dark – Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano

Bring your flashlight and a basket for the adults-only egg hunt at the farmstead. Have fun hunting in the dark for more than 4,000 eggs hidden around the museum property.  Details here.

April 1: Dallas Moms Blog 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park – SOLD OUT

April 7: Electric Egg Hunt (11-18 yrs.) at The Keller Pointe in Keller.

Silly rabbit – egg hunts are for teens!  After the sun goes down, teens will join us for this black-light egg hunt to win prizes and enjoy an evening with friends.  They will provide teens with a black-light flashlight and a chance to win prizes from local vendors.  Pack a picnic and blanket or visit the food and beverage stands.  Come bright-eyed and bushy tailed! Details here. 

April 8: Eggstravaganza – City Wide Easter Egg Hunt at multiple Dallas parks.  

Dallas Park and Recreation Department invites you to one of the City-wide Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunts at the following park locations: Kiest Park, 2012 S. Hampton Rd; Crawford Memorial Park, 8700 Elam Rd.; and Bachman Lake Park, 3500 Northwest Highway. Details here

April 8: Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny with Journey of Hope Grief Support Center Stonebriar Mall in Frisco.

Bring your whole family to this fun family event that includes: Delicious Breakfast Buffet, Live Bunnies, Crafts and Activities for Kids, Egg Hunts Silent Auction and much more! All proceeds benefit Journey of Hope Grief Support Center, the only agency in our area that provides grief support at no cost for children, teens, young adults and their families as they learn to mourn the death or impending death of their loved one in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.  Details & Times here. 

April 8: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Evans Recreation Center in Mesquite. 

Join the Easter Bunny for breakfast, an egg hunt, pictures with the bunny, a petting zoo, balloon animals, face painting, archery, train rides, crafts and more. Details here

April 8: Easter Eggstravaganza at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. 

There will be more than 80,000 Easter eggs up for grabs, so hop on over to the fields at Toyota Soccer Center, located behind Toyota Stadium on Main Street. Kids will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny provided by 3:16 Realty and other activities.  April 8: Egg Hunt and Musical Performance at Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas.   

Bring the entire family to enjoy an egg hunt (at 9:30 a.m.), performance by award-winning children’s musician Lizza Conner, family-fun cardio dance (at 11:30 a.m.), pony rides, petting zoo, face painting and more! It’s free and open to the public. Details here.

April 8: Easter at Paws for Reflection Ranch for Families with Special Needs with Special Needs in Midlothian.    

Enjoy a family fun day at the Ranch. Games, crafts, visits with the Ranch animals, and an Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny. FREE event but donations welcomed. Details here

April 8: Evening with the Easter Bunny at Breckinridge Park in Richardson. 

Ages 2-6 years. Bring a parent and an Easter basket to this unique event. Children will enjoy an Easter craft, refreshments, storytelling, the Easter bunny and a night egg hunt with glowing Easter eggs. Details here. 

April 13: Egg Hunt at Granger Recreation Center at Central Park in Garland. 

Hop on over to Central Park for a chance to hunt for colorful candy and toy-filled eggs.  There will even be a few special prize eggs with tickets for prizes.  Activities include bounce houses, face painting, picture with the Easter Bunny for a small fee, and snacks for sale.  No registration required.  Details here.

April 15-16: Garden Activities at the Dallas Arboretum in Dallas (Camp Lawn). 

Enjoy live music on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn, and enjoy garden games and activities for all ages including face painting, sack races, and live bunnies. Details here. 

 April 15: Egg Hunt at Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano.

Plano’s biggest historic Easter Egg Hunt takes place at the Heritage Farmstead Museum. Children are invited to hunt for more than 5,000 eggs on the Museum’s Lawn and in the North Meadow. The Museum grounds will be sectioned off into age-appropriate areas so everyone, including toddlers, will have an opportunity to participate. Details here. 

 April 15: Easter Eggstravaganza at First Methodist Church in Plano.

A large community event for toddlers through 5th graders. Inflatables, a rock wall, petting zoo, pony rides, and egg hunts by age with over 20,000 eggs! There will also be ongoing egg hunts for both toddlers and children with special needs. Gigi’s Cupcakes, Steel City pops and La Rosita food trucks will be available on site selling delicious concessions!  Also, experience the story of Easter in “Journey to the Cross,” an outdoor walk-through dramatic tour following the footsteps of Jesus.
