Since there’s actually a lot going on in communities around Dallas, we’ve created this easy to navigate list of Easter events in the Dallas metroplex. We’ve organized them by DATE, and then by CITY so you can find an event that works for you or in a location that works for you.

March 4-26:: Photos with the Easter Bunny at Bunnyville at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano. The Easter Bunny eggcitedly awaits visitors in Bunnyville, a charming, three-dimensional Bunny town featuring the Hoppin’ Fresh Bakery, 24 Carrot Bank, Hare Salon, Easter Egg School of Design and Bed & Basket. Each building has interactive touch points such as a school bell that kids can ring to let the Easter Bunny know they have arrived.  The last stop in Bunnyville was a professional photo with the Easter Bunny in front of his Bunny House.  Details here.

March 6:: An Extra Special Bunny at Grapevine Mills. (9:30-11am) A private event for children with special needs and their families. Reserve your spot here: http://grapevinemills.eventbrite.com. Details here

March 11:: Teen Black Light Egg Hunt in Keller (8-10pm) After the sun goes down, enjoy a black light egg hunt, win prizes and enjoy an evening with your family and friends. We will provide you with a black light flashlight and a chance to win prizes from local vendors. Pack a picnic and blanket or visit the food and beverages stands we will have available. Come bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! Space is limited; register early. Details here.

March 11:: Museum After Dark: Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano (8-10:30 pm). Bring your flashlight for the adults only egg hunt at the Farmstead. Have fun hunting in the dark for over 2000 eggs hidden around the museum property.  Each egg will contain a special prize such as gift certificates, coupons, and so much more.  Don’t forget to bring a basket! March 11-26 :: Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail at Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville. Visit the Bunny in his Garden Gazebo. Details here. 

March 12 :: 24th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco (1-4pm). Hip. Hop. Play. The Easter Bunny is on his way!  Bring your Easter baskets, and join us for the Easter Eggstravaganza for children ages 12 and under. There will be more than 80,000 Easter eggs up for grabs. Children with special needs are invited to join the hunt on field #11.  Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny provided by 3:16 Realty and other activities. Details here.

March 18:: Evening with the Easter Bunny from City of Richardson. (7:30-8:30pm) Bring a parent and an Easter basket to this truly unique event. Children will enjoy an Easter craft, refreshments, storytelling, the Easter bunny, and a night egg hunt with glowing Easter eggs at Breckinridge Park Pavillions. $10/residents & $12/non-residents. Details here

March 18, 19, 25, 26:: Easter Egg Hunt at the Dallas Arboretum. (7:30pm) For Members Only. Bring your Easter basket to participate in what promises to be a delight for the young and the young-at-heart as you hunt through the garden at the Dallas Arboretum’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children will be divided into two age groups (2-5 and 6-9).

March 19:: 11th Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny with Journey of Hope Grief Support Center in Frisco. (9-11am) Bring your whole family to this fun family event that includes: Delicious Breakfast Buffet, Live Bunnies, Crafts and Activities for Kids, Egg Hunts Silent Auction and much more!All proceeds benefit Journey of Hope Grief Support Center, the only agency in our area that provides grief support at no cost for children, teens, young adults and their families as they learn to mourn the death or impending death of their loved one in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. March 19:: Breakfast with the Bunny at Evans Recreation Center in Mesquite. (8:30-10:3am) Join the Easter Bunny for breakfast, an egg hunt, pictures and more. The breakfast is $5 per person, children 2 and under are free. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. for children 9 and under. Some activities will have an additional fee. Breakfast with Bunny will also include a petting zoo, balloon animals, face painting, archery, train rides and crafts. Details here.

March 19:: The FirstChurch Easter Eggstravaganza in Plano. (10:30-12:30pm) A large community outreach for ALL children up to 5th grade! We will have inflatable bounce houses, obstacle course and slides, a rock wall, carnival games and crafts, a chance to take a photograph with the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg hunts by age, a toddler zone with ongoing egg hunt and activities, lunch concessions and snow cones will be available for purchase from food trucks. March 23:: ATMOS Energy presents Bunnies are Funny by Bernice Bunny at NorthPark Centre. Bernice is a cute bunny who teaches children interactively to be good helpers by telling the story of “The Little Red Hen” with puppetry and ventriloquism. The show features fun Easter magic which is still relevant to the theme of books and reading. Details here.

March 24:: Egg Hunt at Granger Recreation Center in Garland. (6pm) Hop on over to Central Park for a chance to hunt for colorful candy and toy filled eggs. There will even be a few special prize eggs with tickets for prizes. Activities include bounce houses, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny for $2 per picture, and snacks for sale. Details here.

March 26:: First Dallas Easter Run: A 4 Miler & Family Mile. The Dallas Easter Run is a downtown Dallas tradition benefiting The Last Well. Runners will traverse through the Museum District while zipping past Meyers Symphony and west end before turning the corner for the final approach. Fun, fast and truly exciting. Details here.

March 26 :: Family Egg Hunt at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Plano. Join us from 10am – noon for a morning of egg-citement at the annual Prince of Peace Family Egg Hunt. This FREE event is open to the COMMUNITY and includes: An egg hunt for children featuring 15,000 eggs filled with surprises, Bounce houses, giant slide, obstacle course, Train rides, Games, crafts, music and family photos, Visit from the Easter bunny, Yummy lunch served by the Prince of Peace Holy Smokers, and much more! March 26:: Victorian Eggstravaganza & Spring Festival at Heritage Farmstead Museum. (10am-2pm) The Heritage Farmstead Museum will be hosting an egg hunt for children 8 and younger. After the hunt stay for the day as we celebrate the joys of spring on the Blackland Prairie with the traditional shearing of our sheep.  Hands on demonstrations include carding, skirting, washing, dyeing, and weaving the wool.  Other activities include tours of the Farrell Wilson house wagon rides, and special exhibits.  Free lemonade and sweet tea will be provided by Raising Canes. March 26:: Especially Needed Easter Egg Hunt & Resource Fair at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch in McKinney – For Individuals with Special Needs & Their Families:: One of the largest special needs hunts in the country with over 25,000 eggs. The event is Free. Details here.

March 26:: Annual Easter Egg Hunts on the Mini Golf Courses at Adventure Landing Dallas. (9am-10am) Egg Hunt registration begins at 8am.  The first 100 guests from each age group will participate (Age Groups:  2-4, 5-7, 8-10). A $2 Per Child Donation will benefit City House. Each hunt is followed by a charity raffle, too! EGG HUNT SPECIAL Plus, stay & play with our Egg Hunt Special! From 9am-2pm, enjoy Unlimited Mini Golf, Laser Tag, Go-Karts and Bumper Boats! March 26:: Easter Egg Hunt at St. Andrew United Methodist Church (10am-12:30pm) Hop on over and join in the fun! We will have crafts, bounce houses, a train, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, and balloon animals. Don’t miss your chance to visit with the Easter Bunny!
