Family-Friendly Options at Choctaw Casino Resort Oasis Pool

Dallas Moms Blog is excited to bring you this post from Choctaw Casinos Durant. Arena was provided a free night’s stay in order to provide this review and recommendation for an easy family vacation close to home.

Growing up in North Texas, I’ve always known that Choctaw Casino Resort was just a short drive away. But it always seemed like a place for adults-only, until I had the chance to visit with my family. I’d never considered all the family-friendly options the resort has to offer. And with their newly-expanded Oasis pool and spa area, now there are even more!

The hotel offers spacious rooms that are great for families that want to stay overnight. With your overnight stay, your family receives wristbands for admission to the Oasis pool and spa. That’s the best part!

The expanded Oasis features an additional 11,200 square feet of deck with two pools and seven spas.

The Oasis pool area boasts an awesome kid-friendly indoor Natatorium, with tons of toys and activities for kids to play. The pool also opens to a large outdoor pool, with a wide shelf in the shallow area great for wading toddlers. This area even offers air-conditioned cabanas, complete with refrigerators! That’s perfect for moms of infants or toddlers who need to escape the heat for naps, or to keep food (or breast milk!) cold.

Down just a few stairs, you’ll find an even more beautiful pool area with a Spa Grotto that features a fireplace, two swim-up bars, and 200 assorted loungers for seating. There are also two fire pits with seating available.

The Family Zone features a putting green, and family-friendly cabanas.

The Oasis is open from 10 am to 10 pm daily for Casino Resort guests staying in the Grand Tower, Choctaw Inn, and Choctaw Lodge.

We loved playing on the floating loungers, and even borrowed some pool noodles from the resort to play together. It was such a nice getaway!

Have you made the escape to Choctaw Durant yet?
