All Month :: Don’t miss out on Autumn at the Arboretum! With thousands of squash to admire, this is a must-do event for every family in DFW. 

All Month :: The movin’ and groovin’ dinos are still hanging around at the Heard Museum through the month of November, so take advantage of the fab weather and stroll with the big guys. 

November 1 :: Calling all Cool Cats! Time for First Tuesdays at the Dallas Museum of Art, kids ages 5 and under will enjoy thematic art-making activities, story times, performances, and gallery activities. Free for all. This month’s Theme: Cool Cats

November 2 :: Addison goes to the dogs for the 4th Annual Howlfest at Addison Circle Park. Enter your furry friend into the costume contest, enjoy family-friendly fun, music, pet vaccines, and more. 

November 3 :: Head to Texas Discovery Gardens for Stories and More! with Vivian French. Make crafts, read a book, meet special friends and enjoy themed snacks! The programs end with our daily noon butterfly release and are geared for the under-five/stroller crowd.

November 5 :: Science is closer than you think! Families can join educators from the Perot Museum for fun experiments on First Saturdays in Klyde Warren Park. Each month will feature a new topic with hands-on investigation and experimentation. November is Robots month! 

November 5: Enjoy the cool fall evening with a Barenaked Ladies concert in Carrollton’s historic downtown square. Fun for the whole family! 

November 11,12 :: Take the kids or better yet, leave them at home for The Dallas Flea (hello Moms Day Out!)— an indoor curated marketplace offering handmade, vintage and one-of-a-kind wares from 110+ Texas artisans and small business owners. Outdoors find plants, succulents, garden relics as well as a small farmer’s market and mobile boutiques. Food trucks will be serving up their finest fare, parking and children 12 and under are free; dogs are welcome. 

November 10 :: Does your kiddo like to color? Does your kiddo like cookies? Check…. and check! Come to the Richardson Public Library for an afternoon of the littles two favorite things. Yup, it’s Coloring and Cookies from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. 

November 11 :: Join the city of Farmers Branch in honoring America’s veterans during their annual Veterans Day Celebration. The patriotic ceremony will be followed by great entertainment and will end with an All-American hot dog lunch! Admission is free. Arrive early for great seating. 

November 11-13 :: It’s time to wander through your dream home. Moms, take the day off and enjoy the 40th Annual Lakewood Home Festival, hosted by the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA. Tour eight spotlight homes, enjoy the kick of Friday night party and raise funds for local schools, all in one weekend.  

November 19 :: It’s live music Saturdays at Klyde Warren Park! Grab a spot on the lawn and enjoy musical meditation from Kirtan! 

November 25 :: Get lost in a Winter Wonderland at Geppetto’s Marionette Theater! It’s a whole new experience for those who want to be taken on a journey back through time. 

November 26 :: Head to the Eisemann Center for a performance of Chamberlain Performing Arts The Nutcracker. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

November 29 :: We know kids love trains. So there’s nothing better than seeing a model train set up in a historic baggage car! Visit the Lone Star Hi-Railers Train Association for a miniature tour of the city of Grapevine of Yesteryear.

November 30 :: Let em’ bounce until they can’t bounce anymore at Little Tykes Jump at Pump it Up in Frisco. Two whole hours reserved for the littles ages 6 and under. Don’t forget to bring socks!
