Nominations are Open for DMB’s Best of Dallas :: HEALTHY KIDS {Presented by Solv}

Dallas Moms Blog’s Best of Dallas Nominations and Awards are sponsored by Solv. All opinions are 100% our own and nominations are not affected by this sponsorship.

Dallas is an incredible city that offers endless options to the families that live here. Interested in pediatricians? We’ve got thousands to choose from! Need a Mommy & Me class experience? There’s at least 5 different choices going on each day across the metroplex – just pick your “flavor.”

But as all moms know, many of us choose to not spend hours and hours researching what we need to know, we simply take to the internet and ask on our Facebook Groups or reach out to friends in the area for recommendations — people who are like you, have had good (or bad) experiences, and can share their wisdom with you hopefully saving you all that time researching.

As a website made up of local mamas, Dallas Moms Blog has been honored that many of you choose US as your local “experts” and where you come to for advice. Each week we get emails, Facebook messages, and tweets asking about our recommendations for local birthing hospitals, favorite places to take the kids to eat, or even help with medical specialties for your child.

While we are ALWAYS happy to help, we know that you, our moms, are the heart of Dallas and we want to hear your voices too!

For the next two weeks, Dallas Moms Blog, in partnership with Solv, are opening up nominations for our first “Best of Dallas” guide featuring our first topic: Healthy Kids & Healthy Families.

Whether you’re a mom who’s had experience with a local business OR maybe you’re a mom who works at a local office, we will take nominations of YOUR favorite local businesses and organizations from 4 different categories related to staying healthy! Then on August 17th, we’ll tally up the top nominations and let YOU vote for your favorite’s in our first “Best of Dallas” Health Kids.

The Topics Are:

  • Favorite Places for Health, Kid-Friendly Food

  • Kid-Centered, Indoor Activities

  • Kid-Cenetered, Outdoor Activities

  • Favorite Healthcare Providers

This guide will be shared in September for all of our families to see who YOU think is the “Best of Dallas” and we’ll use this as a resource for all families moving into the area or reaching that new phase of Parenthood and are looking for ways to keep their families healthy.

BONUS :: Any mom who shares their favorite local businesses and organizations using our nomination form will be entered to win a $50 Target Gift Card!*

So, start brainstorming and share your nominations below before it closes on August 16th! We can’t wait to share your local knowledge with other local mamas who need it!

Dallas Moms Blog’s “Best of Dallas” Healthy Kids guide nomination and guide are presented by Solv. Solv, a mobile app, is helping DFW patients simplify everyday healthcare by helping you find and book a last minute doctor’s appointment with a reputable doctor at a time and place that is convenient for you.

Using a smartphone’s GPS, Solv determines the user’s location, and its algorithm matches patients to the right clinics based on a chief complaint, insurance coverage, and appointment availability. Solv can also streamline insurance by allowing patients to use their phone’s camera to take a picture of their insurance card, and get a translation of their family insurance benefits.  To learn more about Solv, visit their website or social media channels for details!
