Recipost Brings Favorite Bloggers’ Recipes to Your Dinner Table {+Giveaway}

This post has been sponsored by Recipost and tried by Dallas Moms Blog to give our opinion. All opinions are 100% our own!

Full disclosure: I really know my way around a kitchen. . . .like completely all the way around to where my phone is charging, which I usually just use to order food delivery or takeout.

Don’t get me wrong. I can cook (a little). I just don’t as often as I should because it seems so overwhelming, especially with a toddler trying to climb my leg. Finding a recipe that makes sense for my family of a meat eater, a vegetarian, and a food-opinionated toddler feels like climbing Everest. Next challenge is making a list, then going to the grocery store and trying to find all the ingredients while opening approximately 25 snacks in 15 minutes just to get said toddler to halfway cooperate. That’s about when I give up and grab a few bags of chips and a frozen pizza and head home.

And those meal delivery subscription services that are all the rage? I love the idea, but life happens and I sadly end up trying to salvage weeks-old flimsy zucchini because I never got around to making the meal.

But there’s a new Dallas-based meal kit service, Recipost, that’s here to help what ails me in the kitchen, and their “Post. Package. Prepare” concept speaks my meal planning (or lack thereof) language.

Here’s the shorthand on how Recipost works.

They compile recipes on their site from amazing food bloggers all over the country, including The Big D. This is an important part of the picture for me. I mean, how many times have you looked at a Pinterest recipe and thought, is this legit?

Once you’ve picked a recipe, add it to your cart and checkout.

Next, a shopper will go pick up everything you need to make your future masterpiece, and deliver it to your front door, usually the same day (they only require 4 hours advance notice). YES, IT’S THAT EASY. All of this with no subscription and no commitment; just click and cook whenever the inspiration hits, even if it’s only once a month or so.

Korean Pork Tacos featured on Recipost from The Defined Dish. Don’t they look yummy?!

I made the Korean pulled pork tacos, recipe courtesy of the local-based ladies at The Defined Dish.  This was a challenge for me (vegetarian), but I was armed with an amazing recipe and instructions, and all the ingredients I would need.

I’m happy to report that they were a huge hit and since it served 6, I was able to make two meals for my family of 3 out of one delivery!

I knew this recipe would be a stretch for me (and it was), but I was impressed by how easy to follow the recipe was. Since it called for ingredients I’ve never bought before, I was thankful that Recipost did the dirty work for me.

Quick learner.

Nothing stresses me more than preparing for last minute dinner guests, or trying to impress my foodie friends by putting something other than pizza on the table when they come to visit.

The Recipost “Blog to Table” recipes are trustworthy and there are plenty of options to tailor to your audience. I’m learning my way around the kitchen for sure, and now I can pass my phone and head straight to my laptop. Moms need a multitude of tools in their back pocket, and I’m glad to have Recipost in mine.

You can find more recipes and a list of the blogger’s who create them on Recipost’s website. While you’re there, learn more information how you can have the ingredients to these recipes delivered straight to your door. Be sure to follow them on social media for all the newest additions.

  1. Hmm I think most people didnt follow directions, but I would like ot make the Chicken Enchilada Bake. Spare Ribs look to intimidating.

  2. Thank you for turning me on to Recipost! I have ordered several meals from them since I saw this post and I truly have one happy family! We have tried the Avocado and Goat Cheese burgers (yum!), the Crokpot Ribs (double yum!) and a couple more. I have to say, the whole process was super easy and convenient. I actually used my phone to order and it was super simple. I was able to order same-day delivery once as well and everything showed up at just the right time. I highly recommend this service and can’t wait to try it again for the Super Bowl. Go Falcons!
