When you think about the Christmas season a few things immediately come to mind. Spending time with family and friends, exchanging gifts, and of course the big man in red, Santa Claus.

bws9We hosted our 2nd annual Breakfast With Santa event at Texas Discovery Gardens and were blown away by the support and interest from our Dallas Moms Blog community. We had over 3,000 people following the event page on Facebook, and both breakfast sessions were sold out. It was for this reason we knew we had to make this event even bigger and better than last year’s.

Santa kicked things off with a reading of the classic book, “Twas The Night Before Christmas”, then it was off to shoot photos with the families in attendance. While our guests waited for their turn with Santa we had tons of activities for whole family to enjoy.

Mrs. Claus was walking around delivering holiday DVDs to each family thanks to NCircle Entertainment. The local Springfree Trampoline team joined us with their famous trampoline to help those with some early morning energy. SOLV brought lots of festive cheer with a reindeer food buffet. Martin Mayer Group brought along a very talented balloon artist friend, who made everything from butterflies to The Little Mermaid. Pearachute ensured we all took home a new addition to the Christmas trees with some ornament crafting.

And AKA Photography did an incredible job of capturing each and every fun moment!

bwsWe love partnering with a local non profit when we host an event, and this time was no exception. For this event we thought Community Partners of Dallas was a perfect fit. Community Partners of Dallas is doing some very important work this holiday season by collecting gifts in hopes of bringing a little joy to those children affected by abuse and neglect. A huge thank you to all the families who contributed to their very important cause.

bws2This year was full of ups and downs, but we are so grateful to those moms and families who attended and supported our events! You can find more photos from the event, on our entire Facebook event album from AKA Photography. We genuinely loved meeting each and every one of you, and are so excited for you to see what we have in store for 2017!

Thank you for being part of what makes Dallas great, and we wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season, and a Happy New Year!
