What a Spooktacular Time! : A Recap of DMB’s 5th Birthday Bash with Energy Ogre

Fall has finally arrived, which means the holidays are right around the corner! This time of year gives off the most exciting energy, and is often the beginning of a long list of family events offered in DFW. Dallas Moms Blog wanted to contribute to that list, so we joined forces with Energy Ogre and Fresh Wave to host the biggest and best Halloween party we’ve ever had!

Heritage Farmstead Museum in east Plano was the perfect venue to create a spooky, festive backdrop for our event. Getting to check out the livestock, and the historic buildings Heritage Farmstead Musem has to offer was definitely a treat for those in attendance.

familyIn addition to a fun theme, Dallas Moms Blog was celebrating our 5th birthday! In honor of our birthday we teamed up with the amazing people at The Birthday Party Project to offer an added perk to attendees when they brought a new unwrapped gift for donation. We have a VERY giving audience because you guys knocked it out of the park! The folks at The Birthday Party Project were so appreciative of your generosity!

bppTo gear up for an afternoon of activities we had a very tasty spread of snacks and drinks. We had yummy treats from the Plano location of Nothing Bundt Cakes, drinks from the east Plano Raising Cane’s, Chipotle in east Plano provided salty snacks, and KIND Snacks, GoGo Squeez, and Pirates Booty made the perfect snacks for little ones!

We also had an incredible team of face painters helping some of our guests add to their already festive attire. And what Halloween party would be complete without creepy crawlies from Texas Discovery Gardens?
