Wrapping Up Our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt {Sponsored by Richardson Dentistry}

Despite unpredictable Dallas weather, our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success with more than 125 families and kids spread out across the lawn at Texas Discovery Gardens hunting for eggs, visiting with vendors and eating food provided by Whole Foods Market at Preston Forest.

We couldn’t have been more excited for the turn out of readers and families who came and the great businesses who jumped in to help make this event possible! Thanks to our friends and co-title sponsor Richardson Dentistry, a local practice that offers services from ranging from cosmetic to sleep apnea treatments, this event was a huge success.

Kids, and adults, of all ages had a great time with some of the extra activities we had before our age specific egg hunts. O’Neill Financial Group sponsored our photo booth area, so parents could take photos of their kids and the Easter Bunny and Illuminating Faces & FunnyCheeks Face Painting, sponsored by Epicentre Skin Care, did a great job with adorable Easter-themed face art for the kids!

But the real reason we were there was to raise awareness during National Child Abuse Awareness Month and to help raise funds for Community Partners of Dallas, an organization that is dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services. At this event attendees helped bring $200 worth of items to help fill 15 Easter baskets, along with $200 in cash donations, that went to Community Partners of Dallas who will provide baskets for kids who would not have otherwise have one this Easter.
