First of all: How nice you are for offering to host a baby shower! While it’s wonderful to open your home to guests, we know that isn’t always a feasible option (and certainly not a stress-free one). For anyone in need of a baby shower venue in Dallas, consider one of these lovely locations.

Note: Spots on this list were chosen because they have private event options, but depending on your party size, you can often get away with a regular reservation.

1. Chelsea Corner

This restored historic building/restaurant on McKinney Avenue has a spacious backyard patio and a couple different indoor private event areas. The Garden Room is light and bright, i.e., perfect for your next baby shower. Note: We put this spot on our Mother’s Day brunch round-up. In fact, most of the places on that list would be great for a baby shower, too!

2. Chocolate Angel

Chocolate Angel is legendary for showers. The Richardson tearoom features menu items like salad samplers and pastries in a highly shabby chic environment. I’ve seen maybe three men here in my life — it tends to be ladies all the way. The private room gets snapped up quickly, but you can choose to do your shower in the main dining area, of course. FYI, there’s a second location in Plano tucked inside High Street Antique Mall.

3. Eataly

This NorthPark shop and eatery contains three restaurants, each with private dining options. Terra, on the third floor, has a botanical, open-air feel that would be delightful for an intimate lunch party. Find out more in the private dining brochure.

4. Elm & Good

Located in The Pittman Hotel in Deep Ellum, Elm & Good serves upscale American in a sophisticated environment. It has two private dining rooms, each with an adjacent outdoor terrace, that can accommodate groups of 10 – 30 (or you can rent the entire space for a larger event).

5. Flea Style

You’ve got several options at this Frisco event space! See the link for different package details, photos, the party brochure, and FAQs on events.

6. Hudson House

The newest Hudson House location can be found in Lakewood, and The Pineapple Room is perfect — not too fancy, but still very stylish. Seats 12. Note: The Las Colinas location has private dining as well.

7. George Coffee + Provisions

This Coppell farmhouse gives major Joanna Gaines vibes. The menu includes fancy coffees, wines, bites, and boards. Reserve the Carriage House or the Library if you want a more private party space. See the link for rental details. Closed Sundays.

8. La Duni

La Duni has carved out quite a niche for itself as a go-to shower spot. In recent years it has downsized to only the McKinney Avenue location but still offers a variety of private dining options. See the links for extensive info on booking, what you can/can’t bring, pricing, etc. Afternoon tea service is a more affordable option, offered daily from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. with no minimums.

9. The Henry

The Henry is an eclectic restaurant in Downtown Dallas with a great upstairs patio. In its own words: The Henry beckons you in with a timeless vibe, a blend of Gatsby-era elegance and modern industrial cool. There are several different private dining options and a menu featuring new American cuisine. See the group dining brochure here.

10. Whistle Britches

Party down with southern comfort food at Whistle Britches. There are locations in Dallas and Plano, both excellent for celebrating a special occasion. At the website you’ll find a private party inquiry form (complete with photos), which is recommended for groups of eight or more.

Bonus: Peerspace

  1. Bake and Play Cafe has a room that seats 40 and is used for any type of party. If your planning a shower we can do your sweet treats and love to do “reveal” cupcakes too. Bring the little ones to run and play in the playroom, while mommies enjoy champagne cocktails and scrumptious baked goodies. 214-824-2253/Lakewood

    • Hi Rasheda, We don’t host baby showers personally. You’ll need to contact the specific business you’re looking to reserve.

  2. Hey Krystal, Thank you for this list of baby shower locations 🙂 Tillman’s however is closing, or has already closed so you may want to update the site. This was one of our favorite restaurants in Bishop Arts so stinks to see it go. There is another new venue in Bishop Arts however that you could add to your site. I can’t think of the name off the top of my head.
