What decade do the following have in common? Scrunchies, Caboodles, leg warmers, neon shades, and acid washed denim. If you guessed the 80’s you’re correct! We recently took on the task of recreating this blast from the past for a totally awesome mom’s night out!
With the help of our team, and an amazing line-up of sponsors, we pulled out all the stops to go back in time to this rad decade. The women were welcomed with raffle tickets for some amazing (current decade) giveaways, and an overflowing “Ferris Bueller’s Day Out” themed swag bag.
After getting checking in, the women had the option of grabbing some light bites and sweet treats from local restaurants, or mingling with our killer sponsors. The women brought their “A” game with their 80’s themed outfits, so we had no choice but to do fashion show to award some of the best dressed. Thanks to Hasbro, winners took home their choice of 1 retro game! Bring on Connect Four! With cocktails in hand, everyone had an absolute blast dancing to all the hits from the 80’s. We even had a surprise “Risky Business” performance from a couple super committed ladies. Good times!
Each of our amazing sponsors got into the spirit of the theme with some great giveaways and services offered. We had a nail bar, eye make up bar, braid bar, a retro candy bar, and last but not least a glamour shot style photo studio, thanks to RD Images!
This event was definitely one for the books, and we can’t wait to do it again soon! Thank you to everyone who joined us, and helped us bring our theme to life with your enthusiasm! We LOVED having you! Also, thank you to all our amazing sponsors! These events wouldn’t be possible without you!
