Bring the Family to Breakfast with Santa {Tickets on Sale TONIGHT!}

It’s time to celebrate the magic of the season and what could be more magical than the Big Man in Red himself! We invite you to join Dallas Moms Blog and our families for our 1st Annual Breakfast With Santa event at Texas Discovery Gardens!

For two hours on either Thursday, December 10 from 9:30-11:30am OR Saturday, December 12th from 9:30-11:30am families will be able to enjoy a breakfast, crafts and activities, and a special storytime with Santa Claus as we send him back to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas.

Excited?! We are too! Here’s all the details:

WHO’S INVITED :: Families of the Dallas Metroplex

  • Photos with Santa “Family Package” – $40 ( up to 2 adults & 2 children; includes breakfast, access to the Texas Discovery Gardens & Butterfly House, pictures with Santa {including a digital image} story time and crafts)
  • Each Additional Adult – $5 (includes breakfast, access to the Texas Discovery Gardens & Butterfly House)
  • Each Additional Child – $5 (includes breakfast, access to the Texas Discovery Gardens & Butterfly House, pictures with Santa, story time and crafts)

Due to time limitations, we only have Santa Photo spots for 18 families at each event, so unfortunately, not every family will be able to have a photo taken with Santa. However, we do want every child (and family) to have a great experience so thanks to our friends at Texas Discovery Gardens, each event ticket will also admit you into Texas Discovery Gardens and their renowned Butterfly House for the day! All children are also invited to listen to Santa’s Storytime at the end of the event.

  • Adult – Admission Only – $5 (includes breakfast, access to the Texas Discovery Gardens & Butterfly House)
  • Child – Admission Only – $5 (includes breakfast, access to the Texas Discovery Gardens & Butterfly House, story time and crafts)

FOOD, ACTIVITIES & CRAFTS :: Whole Foods Lakewood will be providing a delicious spread for breakfast including silver dollar pancakes! And once your tummy’s full, head over to our sponsors’ craft tables for fun holiday activities! Even if you weren’t able to schedule a time slot with Santa, make sure to bring your camera! We’ll have several holiday scenes set up for you to take your own photos!

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA PHOTOS :: To take a photo with Santa, each family will need to purchase a Santa Photo Package ($40) to ensure we don’t overbook! The Photos with Santa “Family Package” will include admission into the event for up to 2 adults & 2 children (ages 1+). For families who have more than 2 children or adults, additional tickets will need to be purchased per person ($5/each). This guarantees a Photo with Santa and a digital image which will be provided by a photographer. The photographers will either email your family an image OR provide a link to an album containing the Santa photos)!

Upon arrival at the event, each family will receive a card with their Santa Photo time slot. Families are welcome to enjoy the other event activities until their scheduled time. Please Note: If a family is late to their prearranged time, we will not be able to reschedule your time slot as Santa MUST leave at his designated time.

WHEN :: This event will happen TWICE! Yes, we are offering it on two separate days to accommodate your busy schedule and as many Dallas families as possible. Join us on either Thursday, December 10th from 9:30-11:30am or Saturday, December 12th from 9:30-11:30am. All events will be fairly identical.

WHERE:: Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park. Besides enjoying the yummy breakfast and having fun, your kiddos are invited to stay and enjoy the gardens and Butterfly House (included in event admission). You’ll want to make sure to stay around for the Noon Butterfly Release!

‘Tis the Season for Giving!

image001Like all of our events you know that we always try to choose a charity to highlight and encourage local Dallas families to teach their children the importance of giving back at a young age. For this event, we’ve decided to partner with March of Dimes Dallas to provide needs this holiday that’s more important than what’s under a tree. “Every year in the United States, more than half a million babies are born too soon, almost 54,000 of them right here in Texas. With your help, we work to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong.”

This Christmas, the March of Dimes is in need of size 1, 2, and 3 diapers. If you have any unused boxes or packages and are willing to donate, we will have a collection box at the event!

>Be sure to join the Thursday Facebook Event group for more details!<

>Be sure to join the Saturday Facebook Event group for more details!<

The Fine Print:: No tickets will be sold at the door, and you must be registered to attend (so we can plan effectively). When the tickets are sold out, we will be unable to release more (no exceptions). Normally our VIP Email Subscribers have access to all of our events first; however, due to the limited amount of tickets, we’ll be releasing ALL tickets at 7pm CST.

Disclaimers :: ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS. NO RAIN CHECKS. We will do our best to assist you in finding another mom to exchange, give or sell your ticket to if the need arises and/or if time allows. Additionally, everyone that purchases a ticket will be subscribed to our email list (if they have not been already) in order to provide the most timely and up to date event info. Photos will be taken at the event and of attendees for use on the blog and on social media.
