A Charlie Brown Christmas :: Baker Theater, Dallas Children’s Theater :: November 18-December 21, 2016 Don’t want to pay full price to take your kids to a Broadway-like performance? See some of the Christmas classics at the DCT for as little as $21/child. This performance is recommended for ages 5 and up with a Sensory-Friendly performance on December 3.

Kathy Burks Theatre of Puppetry Arts’ The Nutcracker :: Studio Theater, Dallas Children’s Theater :: November 18-December 21, 2016 Recommended for ages 4 and up this performance brings the magical world of Kathy Burks’ celebrated puppet troupe to life in a unique performance of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.

A Christmas Carol :: Wyly Theater, AT&T Performing Arts Center :: November 23-December 28, 2016 This is a popular one, so just purchase your tickets before reading the description! The audience is placed into the story with magical ghosts flying above, scary ghosts bursting out of the floor, and snow falling on everyone. Not to mention it’s full of traditional Christmas hymns and songs in fresh, toe-tapping musical arrangements, joyful bursts of choreography, and eye-popping, special effects. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

The Nutcracker :: Winspear Opera House :: November 25-December 4, 2016 The Texas Ballet Theater presents this classic ballet filled with toy solders and dancing snowflakes. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

The Nutcracker :: Eisemann Center, Richardson :: November 25-27, 2016 The Chamberlain Performing Arts’ production of The Nutcracker includes company dancers, local guest artists, and their fellow cast members as they bring to life the enchanting tale of Clara and her Nutcracker.

Vocal Majority :: Eisemann Center, Richardson :: December 1, 2, 4, 2016 A local men’s harmony chorus performs “Home for the Holidays? A Hilarious Christmas Even Stranded at the Airport”. Listen as they perform holiday classics throughout this 2 act performance.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer The Musical :: Music Hall at Fair Park :: November 25-27, 2016  Brought to Dallas by the Dallas Summer Musicals, this story brings the tale of young Rudolph to life! You can see a more detailed review on our site, but this is a play suitable for the whole family!

Dallas Symphony Christmas Pops :: Meyerson Symphony Center :: December 2-18, 2016 From sing-along carols to sacred choruses, this concert starring soprano Ava Pine is a must-see event for the perfect holiday season.. Tickets for all performances are almost sold out, so grab yours now!

Christmas with Michael W. Smith & Amy Grant :: Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie :: December 2, 2016 (8pm) Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Christian music superstars Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant are partnering together for the holiday event of the year performing together with the Plano Symphony Orchestra. The show will feature everyone’s Christmas favorites including a guest appearance from Jordan Smith of NBC’s “The Voice” that will undoubtedly be the most celebrated concert highlight of the holiday season!  Get your tickets here!

A DSO Family Christmas :: Meyerson Symphony Center :: December 3, 2016 (11am) Bring the kids to the symphony for this special one holiday performance with the DSO, its chorus and The Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas. And if you’re good, Santa himself will make a special visit!

Broadway Christmas Wonderland :: Music Hall at Fair Park :: December 6-18, 2016  Presented by the Dallas Summer Musicals, they are bringing some of the best of Broadway to Fair Park. See a dazzling cast and an incredibly talented Chorus Line this side of the North Pole all while hearing classic holiday songs. It’s a perfect show for the whole family!

John Denver – Rocky Mountain Christmas :: Meyerson Symphony Center :: December 23, 2016 (7:30pm) This is a date night must for John Denver fans! Listen to the DSO pay tribute to John Denver in his heart-warming holiday show.
