Does it ever feel like you live in your car? Between dropping kids off at school, rushing them to after-school activities, squeezing in a quick stop at the gym and running other assorted errands, you probably spend more time in your car than your actual house. At the Aaron Family JCC of Dallas, we want to get your family out of the car and into our nurturing preschool, unique kids’ enrichment programs and boutique fitness classes. Let the J be your home for convenience, comfort and community.

Your home for fun Fall activities

All our programs for preschoolers through teenagers encourage self-expression, problem-solving, confidence, communication, coordination and growth. The J Performing Arts Space (JPAS) gives the performer in your family the confidence to inspire artistic expression, while under the guidance of real professionals from the industry. Another example of our diverse offerings is the J Aquatics program, where we focus on water safety through the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy (LKSA). Experienced swimmers looking to take their strokes to the next level should consider the Devil Rays or Elite Swim Teams.

JCC DallasIn addition to JPAS and swimming, the J soccer, basketball, tennis and gymnastics programs will help your child work on important foundational skills, all while having fun! Want to get in on the excitement? We offer adult classes and leagues as well.

Your home for exceptional early childhood education

There’s a reason we refer to the Goldberg Early Childhood Center (GECC) as the #bestschoolfamilyever. Our NAEYC accredited school utilizes stimulating indoor and outdoor teaching environments to ensure development of the whole child. Our curriculum model is designed to meet each student’s developmental levels, ensuring they are prepared academically, emotionally and socially for the future. Our experienced and nurturing educators are creating tomorrow’s leaders.

JCC DallasYour home for making connections

Our J Baby program is a destination for new and seasoned parents and focuses on nurturing relationships, creating friendships and strengthening the bond between parent and baby. J Baby gives you the space to explore this exciting phase of your child’s life while creating a community with other parents through a mix of social and educational programs. For those past the baby phase of life, the J regularly hosts Let’s Get Social events (past events have included pool parties, goat yoga and a National Dance Day celebration) that are unique and engaging for the whole community.

Your home for health and wellness

While your kid is in one of our ECC classes or making new friends on the soccer field, take a little time for YOU. Our locker rooms just underwent a breathtaking renovation, and the new saunas, whirlpools and steam rooms are great options to steal away for a moment of relaxation. If you prefer an activity that is sure to get your heart pumping, head to the state-of-the-art fitness center or try a boutique fitness class (we suggest trying a high-impact, low intensity Speedflex class – it’s only 27 minutes for a complete workout!). Also, if you’re looking for help jumpstarting a health and fitness journey, our Baylor Scott & White Health Wellness Coordinator is on site to guide you.

Everything you need to keep your family learning, thriving and staying healthy is all under one roof. Come check out our campus today! The J is open to families of all faiths, shapes and sizes.

Katherine and her husband, Christopher, grew up in Dallas and met at SMU (Go Ponies!). They have been married 13 years, and although they love The Great State, they lived in DC and Baltimore for seven years, where they experienced actual seasons and great seafood! They made their way back to Texas seven years ago to be closer to family. While working full time and pregnant with their curly-haired Little Man (February 2015), Katherine completed her Master’s degree in Communication and Leadership at Gonzaga University. She continues to work full-time as an Executive Assistant in downtown Dallas. Katherine loves dining in Dallas’ local restaurants; chips and salsa are her weakness! When she’s not running after her family or busy with church activities, you might find her working on a homemade craft or two. You can catch up with her on IG @withlovebykitty
