8 Places To Host a Baby Shower in Dallas

Untitled design (1)

(And let me give you a hint: None of these local spots involve your home.  What does that mean for you?  Less mess and less stress!  Now, we are talking!)

IMG_68611.  Chocolate Angel

The Richardson spot is the QUEEN of Dallas for showers.  If you’ve never had Chocolate Angel’s “Some Like it Hot” pimento cheese sandwich, stop what you are doing right now and drive to Campbell Road quickly.  Salad samplers and divine pastries make this place a hot stop on the shower circuit.  Make sure you have advance time to plan your shower because the private room gets snagged pretty fast.  635 West Campbell Rd, Suite 310, Richardson

2.  T Room at Forty Five Ten

Be seen at THE place to lunch in Dallas. The boutique’s hot cafe, The T Room has a second dining room perfect to accommodate a private party.  Even better, on a nice day the dining room’s retractable roof can be opened making your fiesta an “outdoor” party.  4510 McKinney Ave

3.  Sweet Firefly

What prego doesn’t love ice cream?  This treat stop has a back room and allows you to bring in your own food and drinks (a rarity in Dallas).  The space can be rented for $25/hr.  (I recommend you add Sweet Firefly’s Salted Caramel ice cream to the shower menu!) 2701 Custer Pkwy, Suite 810, Richardson

4.  La Duni

Many people know La Duni for their delicious meals and cakes, but did you know the restaurant offers a daily afternoon high tea?  If you are planning a large gathering, La Duni will work with the party planners to customize the tea for your shower with special touches like crystallized flowers and fruits, and sugar place cards.  4620 McKinney Ave; NorthPark Center

 5.  Times Ten Cellars

I know, I know.  A winery may not be the first place you think of to honor your pregnant friend.  But, I’m *sure* your friend understands that Times Ten is really an excellent venue for the special party.  The Lakewood setting has several wonderful private rooms and the best part: you can bring in your own munchies.  6324 Prospect Ave

6.  Sissy’s Southern Kitchen & Bar

Imagine the most perfect Southern party complete with mason jars, sweet tea, and deviled eggs. Imagine a screened porch just like your Grandma’s.  Your shower can set that scene on Henderson Avenue right in the smack of Dallas.  Sissy’s is an ideal spot for your pregnant Southern belle. 2929 Henderson Ave

 7.  Into My Garden Tea Room

Set in Plano’s historic downtown, Into My Garden is an adorable place for you and your favorite ladies to have a fancy tea.  The tea room provides big fancy hats, shawls, gloves, and costume jewelry for all of your guests to glam it up. 1017 East 15th St, Plano

8.  Tillman’s Roadhouse

Voted Best Private Dining Room by D Magazine, Tillman’s is a slam dunk for baby showers.  The Bishop Arts restaurant’s darling back room seats up to 24.   The restaurant refers to it’s party space as “Dining in the Woods”.  Create a fairy tale shower for the expectant mom with the room’s whimsical birch trees and feather-covered decor.   324 West 7th St

Bake and Play Cafe has a room that seats 40 and is used for any type of party. If your planning a shower we can do your sweet treats and love to do “reveal” cupcakes too. Bring the little ones to run and play in the playroom, while mommies enjoy champagne cocktails and scrumptious baked goodies. 214-824-2253/Lakewood

Hi Rasheda, We don’t host baby showers personally. You’ll need to contact the specific business you’re looking to reserve.
