In 2011, Dallas Moms Blog officially launched to a small audience of under 200 local moms. By 2012, we had a team of 12 writers and were thrilled to see just over 1,000 followers.
Here we are 5 years later, celebrating Dallas Moms Blog’s 5th Birthday with 27 local writers, over 20,000 Facebook followers, 75,000 unique readers per month, and incredible event following…but our goal still remains the same. No matter how long we last, our number one goal is to connect moms and families in a city we are truly passionate about!
So, we’re celebrating! Celebrating an amazing 5 years and celebrating YOU, the community who has supported us and encouraged us along the way, with a BIG BIRTHDAY BASH!
This Halloween, join us on Sunday, October 30, 2016 (2:30-5pm) for a Spooktacular 5th Birthday Bash hosted by Dallas Moms Blog & Energy Ogre at Heritage Farmstead Museum.
Bring the kids in costume for a safe, fun Halloween event with Dallas Moms Blog, Energy Ogre, Fresh Wave, and a few of our favorite partners and friends we’ve made along the way. Families will enjoy exploring some creepy crawly critters with Texas Discovery Gardens, letting out a little energy with Springfree Trampoline, and snapping pictures of their newly painted faces by Illuminating Faces & Funny Cheeks Face Painting in the Gamepad MVPS photo booth! Plus, stop by booths like Baby Boot Camp for trick or treating fun!
One of our favorite photographers AKA Photography will be capturing all the fun and taking a few candid shots of families during our Costume Contest (where everyone is a winner!), but you’ll also be able to grab your own family and head over to our Fall themed photo area for selfies and photos of your kids.
Throughout the event, there will be lots and lots of candy, stickers, and more to trick or treat. Food for everyone thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes, Chipotle, and Raising Cane’s.
We’ll have some fun goodies to giveaway thanks to NCircle Entertainment, Pirate’s Booty, Polka Dot Party + Play, Lilly & Bella, Pencil Grip, Small Pockets, and more — all benefiting The Birthday Party Project!
Tickets are $10.00 per child (ages 1+) and includes all the above activities, food, and candy plus a free mini pumpkin to decorate on site. Each adult is $5.00.
Have a large family? Grab a Family Pack for only $30 – good for 2 adults and 3 children! (Additional tickets will need to be purchased if over 6 people). Tickets are on sale NOW, but stay connected to our event page for all the latest details on what we’re continually adding to make this event amazing!
Who’s The Birthday Party Project? We discovered this incredible non-profit organization just a few years ago and are thrilled to be helping them once again raise awareness! Their mission: Bring JOY to Homeless Children Through the Magic of Birthdays. Stay connected to our event page to find out how you can help their mission at Spooktacular Birthday Bash!
