Equinox Fitness Club :: One Week Free for DMB Readers!

preston_hollow_exteriorRecently I had the amazing opportunity to try the Equinox Fitness Club at Preston Hollow.  From the second I walked in and started breathing their Clean Air (and got a reprieve from my seasonal allergies) I was hooked!  I never wanted to leave.  Besides the fact that it was the first time I had stopped sneezing in weeks, everything about Equinox screams luxury, comfort, and convenience — which might not be the first things you think about when you work out, but I quickly learned – they should be!

Working out is, well… work.  Finding the right workout can make it fun.  But add to that amenities like – a phone charger on each treadmill, eucalyptus infused cold towels to cool off with, trainers available to talk to any time you’re working out, and a eucalyptus steam room (just to name a few) and going to workout starts to feel more like a trip to the spa (which they also have available should you need a massage or facial!).

My first workout at Equinox was hands down the best yoga class I’ve ever been to.  And I’m not even exaggerating a little bit.  Taking a yoga class at a gym is usually filled with “gym” background noises.  But as soon as you step into the yoga studio at Equinox it’s like stepping into an oasis.  The room has beautiful wood floors, sunlight peeping in from high up windows, it’s soundproof and just whispers relaxation.  It’s those impressive details in the yoga studio and the entire club that make the difference!preston_hollow_yoga

While I was sleeping (ahem), I mean working out in my yoga class, Miles got to try out the developmentally focused Kids Club.  He was the first kid there that day so he was a little apprehensive when we first went in.  And I’d never left him at a gym daycare before so I was a bit nervous also.  But the staff jumped right in – showing him toys and engaging him.  By the time I picked him back up he did not want to leave — I had to drag him out of there!

Even the class schedule is incredibly impressive.  Anything you could want to do for a workout – they have!  From Spin Class to Pilates (mat or reformer) to Barre Burn, to things you might not have even heard of but should try — like Stacked! or Whipped! – you might have a hard time picking your favorite!  They have 12 different types of yoga classes.  And if weight training is more your style – you’ll be impressed with the machines and area they have spread out for you.

Or, if you’re like me and you’d just love to shower without a toddler pulling back the shower curtain to ask for more juice – your favorite part of Equinox might just be the locker room.  With the spacious and private shower stalls, Kiehl’s Since 1851 products, salon-style hairdryers, and the eucalyptus steam room (heaven!) — you might run out of time for your workout!

But the absolute best part of Equinox is that they want to offer Dallas Moms Blog readers one week free to try out these amenities with, get this, complimentary Kids Club while you workout!!  At the Preston Hollow OR Highland Park location!

Let me just say that again, because of how awesome a deal it is – they want you to workout for FREE for a week with FREE child care while you workout – ALL WEEK!

No catch.  No contest.  Everyone’s a winner!

Any day from now until May 12th you can go in and start your week free!  All you have to do is print out this certificate (click on it to enlarge) or show it from your phone.
