Whether you are looking for a part-time kindergarten or considering a primer or transitional year for your child, this alphabetical list is a good place to start your search.
About a year ago I wrote a post entitled, “Whatever Happened to Half-Day Kindergartens?” that expressed my frustration with the cultural shift toward full-day kindergarten and, to be more precise, full-time school (homework, less play, no rest time) for five and six years olds. In response to that post, we have received many requests for a list of part-time kindergartens in Dallas. Please add any that I missed to the comment section at the bottom of the post!
